FAQ

What is an educational fitness program?

An educational fitness program addresses muscle imbalances, structural misalignment and altered movement patterns, and reintroduces proper function to the body. The program utilizes simple exercises and functional progression. By following this system, the body’s biomechanics improve, and the negative stresses that cause the pain and prevent the body’s ability to move normally are removed.

Is this program for beginners?

The Movement is Therapy™ program is for all fitness levels, beginner to advanced, anyone who wants to learn the proper way to move. However, beginners will find it especially beneficial. General and specialty programs can address back pain and chronic conditions. Custom programs are available to ensure that movement becomes a part of your life-whether you want to play golf, participate in a boot camp, or enjoy playing with your kids or grandkids.

I have back pain. Is the Movement is Therapy™ program for me?

Yes, absolutely. The Movement is Therapy™ program was created to help those with low back pain, chronic pain, arthritis, tendonitis, depression, weight loss, as well as fibromyalgia. The program also teaches prevention for those at risk for diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure. We work closely with your physician to design a program specifically tailored to meet your needs.
